American Eagle Gold Coins

These are one of the most popular types of collector's coins. They are made from 24 karat pure gold and are easily worth over $500.

Most commonly, they are available in $5 and $10 denominations, and feature a Liberty design on the obverse, and the American Eagle on the reverse (tail) of the coin.
