Silver Mercury Dimes


Dimes are the smallest types of coins in the current United States Currently, with a diameter of 17.91mm and a thickness of 1.35mm.

Silver Mercury Dimes are a popular item for coin collectors. Historically, dimes first went into production in 1796. The first design featured the Head of Liberty on the obverse and an eagle on the reverse. These designs were changed in 1837 to a seated Liberty and then Barber Dimes in 1892.
