Three Cents
There are two different types of Three Cent coins produced by the U.S Mint. These were the Three Cents Silver and the Three Cents Nickel coins.
Silver Three Cent pieces were made with 90% silver and were released in 1854 to 1873, before being gradually phased out, with the introduction of a Three Cent coin made from nickel in 1865.
At present, Three Cent coins are rare and have a good collectors' value. They are a great addition to any coin collection.
