Bust Dimes

Bust Dimes are one of the rarest types of dimes on the market, as they are the oldest dimes, in history. There are two types of Bust Dimes and these are draped Bust Dimes and capped Bust Dimes.

Draped Bust Dimes were released in 1796 and featured a draped bust on the obverse, and an American Eagle, on the reverse. Capped Bust Dimes replaced draped Bust Dimes in 1809 and had a new portrait of a woman on the obverse, and a bald eagle with three arrows on the reverse.
